Meet the Team !
We are Postgraduate students from the University of St Andrews, preparing an exhibition for Spring.
Display
The display team is in charge of choosing artefacts and to present them the public.
Erin Catron
After completing her BA in Humanities (2012) from Fort Lewis College in Colorado, where she grew up, she did a photo-styling / home-staging assistantship and worked at a fine art gallery before coming to St Andrews for her master's in Museum and Gallery Studies. She enjoys playing football, reading, and of course, art.
Mathilde Marlaud
After studying an Art History Bachelor at the University Paris 1 - Panthéon La Sorbonne, she came to study at St Andrews as a postgraduate. She has interests in arts, literature, traveling and cooking exotic food. She is very keen on working in either museums or art galleries, for she has professional experience in both.
Education
The education team are responsible for the exhibition's activity programme, which features a variety of events for adults and children. They are also responsible for the accompanying teacher resources.
Kirsty Simpson
After completing her undergraduate degree in Evolutionary Biology at St Andrews, Kirsty spent one year working in secondary school scientific education and another in clinical oncology at the University of Oxford. She has now returned to the University of St Andrews to study her master’s degree in Museum Studies. Kirsty is interested in public engagement of the sciences (particularly evolution and oncology), as well as live music and textile crafts.

Yeting (Raven) Shi
Raven studied Cultural and Creative Industries in Shanghai and now she comes to St. Andrews and doing her postgraduate in Museum and Gallery Studies. Contemporary Art and Hitchcock Movies are her favourites. She is responsible for education within the exhibition group.

This group is in charge of sponsorship, advertising, marketing and everything related to social media to promote our exhibition.
Alix Marion
After her baccalaureat, she studied Art History and English for three years and came to St Andrews for her masters. She has interests in drawing, painting and arts in general, which are the main subjects of her blog.

Holly Mowle
Throughout childhood she had a passion for history, in particular jewellery and gemstones, so following an undergraduate degree specialising in traditional jewellery making techniques she went on to complete a Foundation certificate in Gemmology with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. When not buried in a book or slaving over hot metal Holly can usually be found in the company of her four-pawed/hooved friends.
